Well, it's the day after Hallowe'en, and the time has run out for the 100HorrorMoviesIn92Days challenge. This was my first time joining in, and it was fun as well as challenging. The big rule was that you had to watch 100 horror movies that you've never seen before within the 92days. Which started on August 1st and ran until October 31st. Thankfully, some of those were allowed to be kid friendly gateway horror. I'm not going to lie, there were days when I was glad I was able to add them, as a steady non stop diet of horror movies, was starting to wear on me.

Okay, so what was movie surprised me the most and what left me really disappointed?
The Scooby-Doo Where's My Mummy left me Disappointed. It felt disjointed like they were trying to put two different stories together. It felt poorly written.
What surprised me the most, was the remake of the Haunted Mansion. I really loved every aspect of this, from the cast to the fact they went more like what a paranormal event actually feels like. I thought the storyline of having a grieving psychic who had turned bitter and regretful, worked perfect against the backdrop of being a spiritual tour guide/paranormal investigator. I have to admit though, I am one of those rare people who hated the original 2003 version. The original version for me was geared too much towards kids, where as this was more adult in nature.
There you have it. Hallowe'en 2023 wrapped up. Sadly, I actually missed Hallowe'en itself this year. I was at home in bed sick and had to cancel my plans. Which, I will have to make up for next year.
