2025 Did the Movie Make Me Do It? p. 22

It's day 247 of the year and main project. For those of you who've been following this series for any length of time, you know I have been seeing if a particular movie is paralleling my life this current year. For anyone new, there is a theory among horror movie fans, that the first movie you watch on January 1st will influence your entire calendar year. I've see it happen more than once. This year, I picked the movie Elvira Mistress of the Dark to see if it would parallel my real life?

It has a little, which I've been talking about already in earlier parts of this year's posts.

So where are we with the check in? Nothing else has happened. Which, given the fact all the bad elements and drama kicked my arse in the first three months this year, nothing else happening is a good thing. Sadly, none of the good elements of the movie has happened either. It's gone very quiet.

That brings me to the point in the post where I say what movies I've watched this past month in general, that I've liked. I ended up really liking The Thursday Murder Club. I hope it gets turned into a series.
