2025 Did The Movie Make Me Do It? p 19

It's day 152 of the year and the project. Which means, we've made it to June. The year is halfway done, which means the big main project for this year is halfway as well. Crazy to think. If you've been following along with this, then you know that movie fans, specially horror movie fans, have a theory that the first movie you watch on January 1st sets the tone for your entire year. I've actually seen this proven. So, this year I picked a movie I already knew the outcome of to see if my personal life parallels. And that movie was/is Elvira Mistress of the Dark.

As I talked about earlier in the year, yes things did come parallel to the first half of the movie's plot. But as the year has progressed, it's been eerily quiet. It's as if all the drama from the first fifteen minutes that happens in the movie jumped off the screen to land on my lap for the first two months of this year. Now, silence. So, in that regards, nothing to report at the moment.

So I suppose I'll jump to the part where I mention what movies I've watched this last month that I really liked while I've been doing my One Movie A Day Challenge on my Letterboxd.

Surprisingly, I actually ended up liking Hangover 3. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was more a buddy caper than a raunchy film.
