I've managed to get the first issue of my physical magazine created and handed out to a few people in my city. It's this hybrid of a traditional magazine and a homemade 'zine. I write all the articles, take any photos and then literally photocopy and duct tape the issues, physically handing the issues out. It's a very long process. Took me a full year to get that first issue in people's hands. And it looks I'm afraid to say, very arts and crafted. Which, I suppose it technically is.
But, I managed to score three interviews so far for the next few issues. So I must have done something right with that first one.
Now, I'm opening up a segment to my audience for the magazine. An old fashioned advice column where they can write in with questions or opinions or something. A "letters to the editor" meets "Dear Abby". Should be interesting.
