31 Days of Hallowe'en Challenges: Day 21

It's Day 294 of the year and main project, that means we are on Day 21 of the 31 Days of Hallowe'en Challenge and the #31DayHorrorChallenge being hosted by Nightmare on Film Street.

Today, it's another day where the two challenge prompts mix. My own 31 Days of Hallowe'en theme is Witchcraft, and the prompt for 31 Day Horror Challenge from Nightmare on Film Street is Everyone or Almost Everyone Dies in The End. I picked Warlock 3 End of Innocence.

When a young woman learns she's inherited an old house, her and a group of friends decide to check the place out. Not long after arriving, a man knocks on the door wanting to see the house. Over the course of the night, we learn he's an ancient witch just trying to raise a demon. And he's willing to sacrifice everyone in the house to do so.

This film just does not get enough love. This could have been a great spring board for the franchise to go into more of an anthology series with a different lead character each film, if it had just been given a wider audience. I love that this is an isolation horror for most of it, as we do see in flashbacks, characters lost in the woods; but the majority of the film takes place either in the house or the friends dorm room.
