2025 Did The Movie Make Me Do It? p24

It's Day 309 of the year and the main project. I can breathe a little now that I'm done the Hallowe'en season for the year. Slow down, and start planning the next Hallowe'en season. Which, no longer starts in August, but in April with Halfway to Hallowe'en.

Anyways, the main project...if you've been following along with this series at all, there is a theory with movie fans; specially horror movie fans, that the first movie you watch on January 1st colours your life all calendar year. This year, I watched Elvira Mistress of the Dark, as my first movie of 2025. And yes, all the drama, the first few months of the year did parallel in my real life. All the drama any way. Here we are ten months in to this years theory and none of the good stuff, none of the lightheartedness from the film has happened. I keep hoping. With that said, there was nothing different this month that connects to the movie. The only thing that really happened in my life in October since I posted the last catch up was the typical Hallowe'en stuff. And since I posted everyday in October for the 31 Days of Hallowe'en and #31DayHorrorChallenge , every movie I saw, and I watched roughly 60 movies this last month, nothing really stands out as me really loving.

This was a bit of a sad entry into the series. But, there is always next month.
